FOUNDATION has two openings for a TRAINER/USER SUPPORT SPECIALIST The University of Illinois Foundation is seeking two dynamic, highly motivated individuals to work with the University Alumni and Development staffs providing training and user support. One position is a visiting position that will provide training during the Advance Illinois project that is a 2-year initiative to replace the current donor database, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and other related systems with the Blackbaud CRM and Hyland Onbase EDMS. The second position will provide overall training and user support and be responsible for analyzing training needs, developing and delivering end user courses in support of a large Alumni/Development data-base System (FACTS). Training encompasses online and reporting use of this system. Additionally these positions are responsible for providing technical support for end users, end user system enrollments, and for developing methods to monitor data integrity. Some travel is required. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree and two or more years of experience working with database applications development and/or providing user application support/training. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required as well as experience in writing User Manuals and procedural documentation. The incumbents must also possess superior analytical abilities and be able to learn new
computer
applications quickly in a fast paced environment. Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite including strong Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Camtasia, Captivate, and other software suites for creating video tutorials and presentations is preferred. Experience using personal computers, PC based applications, Query tools and knowledge of how sophisticated computer systems are used to support alumni and fund raising operations in a major university is also desired. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
