The Manufacturing Facilities Engineer:
Is responsible for working effectively & collaboratively for the design, development, construction, installation and launch of new equipment & facility upgrades. Lead & coordinate new facility construction activities within the organization along with interface with Manufacturing, Facility Planning Personnel, Plant personnel, Material Handling, to ensure that the projects meets its deliverables and customer requirements.
Develops bid specifications, recap and clarify bids, recommend & be a part of awarding contracts, approve invoices for related contracts working with the Director of Facilities & Capital Acquisitions and finance for large value projects.
Develops implementation timing and manage contractors to deliver the Project scope and meet deliverables.
Is responsible for managing the facility launch timing plan through completion of project implementation and product launch.
Is responsible for maintaining the plant layout for programs through completion of project implementation and completing an as built layout at the completion of the program.
Is responsible for managing the facility program funds and maintaining the project budget through completion of project implementation and product launch.
Applicants will be required to perform casual and overtime work as required.
Position requires travel domestically and overseas both on a short term basis as well as extended periods of time to support project planning, coordination, implementation and field construction activities.

Qualifications:
Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
Candidate should have 5-7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Facilities Engineer
Candidate needs an understanding of facilities, general manufacturing systems, construction management process, construction standards and methods.
Candidate must have the ability to coordinate the needs of the customer, manufacturing plants, and contractors. Knowledge in facilities implementation through all phases of project management; from conception through close-out.
Be able to organize, prepare, review and execute layout planning for processes, manufacturing systems, and related equipment and facilities.
Must be proficient with personal computers, support software and apply Flex-N-Gate specific application software: Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project, Windows, web/internet software, MS Project, AutoCAD.
Good oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills, including diversity and teamwork.
Strong time management skills.
Strong leadership qualities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
