Quality Laboratory Manager

Maintains a familiarity with all product standards, properties, processing standards and requirements;
Identifies laboratory team priorities and vision and insures laboratory has proper leadership and proper tools to accomplish mission;
Schedules and assigns workloads of analysts for two laboratories across all three shifts, evaluating performance and reporting on their effectiveness;
Responsible for developing and tracking laboratory supply and labor financial budget and identifying potential cost reduction opportunities;
Ensure site quality safety goals are met and safety program followed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a science or related field
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Systems Supervisor with a proven record of accomplishments;
Advanced knowledge of quality systems, procedures and policies, statistical process control and computer applications;
Desired experience in chemical, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, food processing, beverage, etc.;
Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
