Job description
Key
Responsibilities:
o Planning and overseeing maintenance associates to ensure safe and efficient operations
o Assist with upkeep of building and machinery needed to operate and maintain the facility
o Document all maintenance and service activities conducted during the shift
o Troubleshoot and correct electrical and mechanical problems
o Interact and effectively communicate with other departments and shifts to ensure proper operation of the facility's system
o Perform maintenance duties as needed
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
o Proficient skills in reading, writing, math, and comprehension
o Technical training in the areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing or other related fields
o Basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics
o 3 to 5 yrs experience of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing
o Experience with metal forming, processing, and finishing equipment
PREFERRED:
o Post-secondary education and training in a technical field of study or leadership training
