Summary: The Nurse Manager - Ortho / Surgical is responsible for managing and supervising functions of assigned patient care area on a 24 hour basis. This Nurse Manager will also be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative, quality and clinical policies and procedures.
EDUCATION: Bachelors of Nursing is required or must be able to obtain within 2 years of hire date.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure as RN in the state of Illinois is required. National Nursing Certification is required or must be able to obtain within 4 years of hire date.
Experience: 3 years of nursing experience is required. Previous nursing leadership experience is highly preferred.

o BSN required or must be able to obtain within 2 years of hire date
o 3 years of nursing experience required
o Previous leadership experience
